After an intense run, November 4th marks Manor New Tech Football’s last game.
Even though we didn’t make playoffs this season, we noticed a considerable improvement in our team’s performance compared to last year. Given that our team is pretty new compared to a lot of our competitors, our performance was considerable. Although this marks the end of the season for New Tech, our coaches, players, and trainers have already started preparing plans for the upcoming season.
Looking ahead to next season, there isn't any major flaw within our team that has been the reason for us falling out of the playoffs this year. After interviewing some of the coaches, they also feel that the only change that we expect is just experience for our players. Our team’s foundation is set, and our coaches and staff are making sure that everything from team chemistry to individual performance is the best that could come out of our team, so as our players gain more and more experience, we expect them to gradually continue to improve.
Final note: One of our players, Davian Holloway, has been injured following the game against Jarrel High School. Please wish him a speedy recovery.
